   I bought this watch as a rugged type sports watch for the gym, skiing, mountain biking etc. I also liked the idea of the solar power, as changing watch batteries is sometimes troublesome.

   The watch is OK, although the watch’s measurement abilities are poor. Don’t expect the temperature readings or altitude readings to be anywhere close to accurate. I have read the manual, and the altitude section does note that it is only accurate to within 300ft. I have seen cheaper watches that give accuracy within 10ft, so if you are planning on using this watch for this function, look elsewhere.

   That aside, the watch has some pleasant functions (backlight turns on if you move the watch 90 degrees downwards; lightweight; strong build quality) but for the price I expected more.

   I agree, super Pathfinder? However it is a SS Band NOT Titanium, Why is casio charging more, and skimping on the Band? That is my most serious Gripe. I have had 2 lower models, each with Titanium Bands. Casio get your stuff together!!!!!!

   i have the 1300T-7V i love this watch i am a out doors guy i use this as my work watch so i bought the 1500T-7V as my good watch im a welder and i did get a little splater on the cristal thats why i bought the 1500 that and is the latest of the pathfinder’s i like the atomic time keeping my work has buzzers that are atomic so i know when there going off before they go off that and the solar power i where long sleaves at work i sleep with this watch on and the batery is all ways on H its great it gets sun light for abought 20 minn on my way home other then that a little in door light is all it gets i just got my 1500 today and cant wait to play with it this weekend when i go fishing thanks for reading and i would recamend this watch yes its big but what the hell its a tough watch

   Many others have commented on the features of the watch, and it is an impressive piece of technology.

   There is, however, a BUYER BEWARE issue with the watch band. Adjusting this band without purchasing one of the link removal gadgets would be nearly impossible, and even then it is very difficult. Casio has NO information in the supplied manual about the watch band. When I contacted them, they sent me a pdf file with directions on adjusting five different watch bands, none of which applied to the band on the 1500. When I spoke for a second time to customer service their only solution was to go to a jeweler if links needed to be removed. Ultimately, with the use of a link remover I was able to make the adjustment, but it was moderately complex, and required great care not to lose the unique tiny metal cylinders that hold the links together. Casio was for me frustratingly un-helpful in the process.
